SEATS
Our high-tech amaretta™ fibre is an alternative to leather. It has a classy appearance, feels pleasant to touch and is breathable and easy-care, so it goes on looking good for years.
PAINTWORK
First impressions count so the quality and workmanship of the car exterior is extremely important. Our Mowiol® and Kuraray Poval® polyvinyl alcohols are used to produce high-quality protective finishes and strippable coatings. And our Mowital® and Pioloform® polyvinyl butyral resins provide a reliable adhesive basis for stoving finishes. As primers, they protect against rust.
ENGINES AND FUEL TANKS
Products from Kuraray enhance the lifecycle and safety of vehicles. Our offering includes activated carbon filters for air-conditioning systems, technical fibres for hoses and multi-layer fuel tanks made from EVAL® plastics.
TYRES
LIR/LBR are high-viscosity polymer rubbers based on isoprene and butadiene. They are used in the rubber industry as reactive plasticisers. Benefits compared with conventional plasticisers include increasing the service life of tyres.
