“Elastomer Coffee Talks”: Kuraray’s interactive web forum

Kuraray's new series of web seminars offers a practical, knowledge-based insight into innovative TPE materials. The first edition of this new series on April 9, 2021 is on medical and pharmaceutical equipment.

Hattersheim, February 2021. From high-performance tyres and medical and pharmaceutical equipment to consumer products: Kuraray is launching “Elastomer Coffee Talks”, a new series of web seminars to show how high-performance thermoplastic elastomers such as SEPTON™ and HYBRAR™ can make products, better, more sustainable and more user-friendly. As well as practical information, the four web seminars in 2021 will give participants an opportunity for cross-sector networking. The first web seminar on April 9, 2021 will focus on how high-performance elastomers can make medical and pharmaceutical equipment safer and better - including looking ahead to the time after the COVID-19 pandemic. In each web seminar in this series, Kuraray's experts will be joined by a guest speaker from science, industry or research. Participation is free.

The “SAFER MATERIALS FOR A SOFTER EUROPE” web seminar presents new and practical information for participants from the medical and pharmaceuticals sectors:

How can thermoplastic elastomers be used in medical devices? How can innovative TPE materials ensure compliance with current requirements such as GMP, ISO standards and the USP standards in the United States. Marcel Gruendken, Senior Manager MD&TS, Bianca Carvalho, Assistant Manager Sales, and Robin Conrad, Marketing & CRM at Kuraray will be answering these questions at the first of the “Elastomer Coffee Talks”. Participations will also find out how the thermoplastic elastomers SEPTON™ and HYBRAR™ can replace PVC and greatly improve the performance and safety of medical equipment such as respiratory masks, tubes and IV and blood transfusion bags.

The web seminar starts at 10 a.m. (CET) on April 9, 2021. Click here to register for free:
