HYBRAR™ is the brand name for styrene block copolymers with a flexible vinyl polydiene block. The glass transition point of HYBRAR copolymers is room temperature, giving them excellent vibration damping and shock absorption properties. HYBRAR™ is available as durable hydrogenated and non-hydrogenated grades. Hydrogenated HYBRAR™ polymers have excellent combinability with polypropylene and can be used to produce compounds with high transparency and flexibility and very good mechanical properties. Unlike PVC, products manufactured using HYBRAR™ do not need a plasticiser, which reduces the environmental impact of production. HYBRAR™ can be processed in a wide variety of forms, including films, tubes and injection moulding.
