Its subsidiary Kuraray Europe GmbH is Europe’s leading producer of polyvinyl alcohol (Mowiol®/KURARAY POVAL™/EXCEVAL™) and polyvinyl butyral (Mowital®/Pioloform®). Its Trosifol® films are used for laminated safety glass for vehicles, buildings and solar installations. Kuraray Europe’s product portfolio also includes chemical specialities, activated carbon filters, thermoplastic elastomers, manmade fibres, manmade leather and dental products.
