VINARL™ is a flame‑retardant polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibre developed for personal protective equipment (PPE) and flame‑retardant workwear. Flame retardance is engineered into the fibre itself, rather than through a post‑applied finish, ensuring permanent protection that does not wash out or degrade over time. VINARL™ is available in a range of dope dyed colours, offering excellent colour durability and design flexibility.
VINARL™ is used in protective clothing where flame protection and wearer comfort are equally important. Its hydrophilic structure efficiently absorbs and releases moisture, helping to reduce perspiration and heat stress in demanding, high‑temperature working environments. This makes VINARL™ well suited for PPE intended for extended wear.
With excellent chemical and UV resistance, VINARL maintains performance in outdoor and industrial environments. These properties make it ideal for PPE, protective uniforms, industrial workwear, and flame-retardant textiles, including tents and technical outdoor coverings.
