Kuraray markets a wide range of poylvinyl butyrals (PVB) under the Mowital® brand names. PVB is a speciality polymer with specific technical properties. The polymers can be customised for a wide range of applications. Technical service is a central focus at Kuraray. PVB RESIN

Under the name Mowital®, Kuraray produces polyvinyl butyral resins. With its excellent adhesive and film-forming properties, its strong binding power and its outstanding optical transparency, Mowital® is unquestionably a versatile thermoplastic material.

PVB APPLICATIONS

Polyvinyl butyrals meet the requirements for an enormous number of applications, e.g. interlayers for safety glass, paints, lacquers, varnishes, printing inks, temporary binder for ceramics and adhesives.

PVB THIN FILM

PVB Thin Film can be used to laminate different materials, including multi-layer composites comprising a variety of substrates.
